About the Conference

The Selenium Conference brings together Selenium developers & enthusiasts from around the world to share ideas, socialize, and work together on advancing the present and future success of the project.
The conference begins Monday with all-day workshops, followed by two days of talks. We’ll have a main track and a second informal track for other presentations. There will be pair-coding sessions throughout the day, as well as opportunities to get Selenium advice and tutorials from experts. We’re having a kickoff party Monday night (free booze and food) at Cigar Bar in San Francisco and a speaker dinner Tuesday night.

About Selenium

Selenium is an open-source project for testing web-based applications in any web browser on any operating system on your desk or in your pocket. It’s awesome. You should use it.

About The Organizers

Jason Huggins Program Chair

Jason Huggins co-founded Sauce Labs and is the resident “crazy idea guy”. Actually, his official title is “Executive Software Chef”. Prior to Sauce Labs, Jason was a Test Engineer at Google where he supported the grid-scale “Selenium Farm” for testing Google applications such as Gmail and Google Docs. Jason’s experience also includes time at ThoughtWorks in Chicago as a software developer. While at ThoughtWorks, Jason created the Selenium testing tool out of the need to cross-browser test a new in-house time and expense system.

Ashley Wilson Conference Chair

Ashley Wilson holds a marketing and sales hybrid position at Sauce Labs, dealing primarily with customer marketing, customer support, inside sales, and events. She also keeps the office running smoothly, and organizes the San Francisco Selenium Meetups.
