The SeleniumConf Berlin 2017 Scholarship Scheme

We’d love for everyone to be able to attend SeleniumConf Berlin, but we know that some people’s personal or financial circumstances will make this difficult, which is why we’re setting aside a number of free tickets as part of our scholarship scheme.
The scheme is open for all to apply, and chosen applicants will receive access to all content, food, drink and all the extras. In some special cases, we are able to cover travel and accommodation.
Originally inspired by RubyConf, we also offer to pair our scholars with a guide if they’d like one. A guide is an experienced member of the community and will be a friendly face at the conference, there to help make sure you get the best out of your conference experience and to introduce you to other people at the event.
The scheme aims to support individuals from underrepresented groups in tech and those facing economic or social hardship to have access to brilliant content and networking opportunities. If you’re an aspiring developer looking to use Selenium, or a current one without access to the funds to buy your ticket, you should apply. We will award tickets to people who can show that the knowledge gained will be useful for their ongoing career.
Apply for a place on the scholarship scheme by completing our online form.
All applications will be assessed by the organising team and successful applicants will be notified by email within three weeks of the application closing date on 4 August 2017. Free tickets can only be given in a limited number and the organisers’ decision is final and cannot be appealed.
